It is now widely accepted that the success of an organisation rests largely on the quality of its leadership. Good management is an essential organisational foundation but getting leadership right is what will set an organisation apart. Research suggests that the best leaders are those with a high level of emotional intelligence. Being able to influence and give shape to the human resource of an organisation is a hallmark of an organisation that is effective and able to achieve its intentions and aspirations.

Reframe adopts the principles of emotional intelligence and translates these principles into tangible behavioural competencies that will equip current and future leaders for the many challenges of today's working environment.

The leadership competency framework Reframe has developed can be adapted to the individual needs of the organisations. Core components of the framework for creating visible and respected organisational leaders are:
